John Harper Launches Campaign to Represent Texas’ 4th District in Congress

A U.S. Air Force Veteran and 2016 Trump Elector, Harper has long history of public service 

Rockwall, TX (December 28, 2021) – Air Force veteran and conservative leader Dr. John Harper announced today the launch of his campaign for the 4th District U.S Representative for Texas. Harper has built a lengthy career serving Texas and the United States in the U.S. Air Force, as a Republican Party of Texas Elector for Donald Trump for President, as Mayor of a suburban Texas community and as a business and policy consultant.

“Joe Biden and the liberal Democrats want to take away our freedom and liberty. They are running this country into the ground. You can count on me to fight for Texas and her people by stopping the reckless Biden/Pelosi liberal, socialist agenda,” said Harper, who seeks to unseat first-term Congressman Pat Fallon.

“Unfortunately, our current Congressman Pat Fallon can’t say the same. He worries about everything but Texas. He spent his first year in Congress drenched in scandal, from creating double standards on China, to engaging in insider trading, and he’s being taken to court for fraud by his own business partner, a respected two-star general. We can and will do better when I’m in Congress,” Harper said.

“Texas' 4th Congressional District deserves an experienced leader who represents us the Texas way, with bold integrity and family values. I love our Country. I have fought for it, and I will do it again with dignity. I will build relationships and find common ground to seek solutions for the problems facing all of us in the district and in our wonderful country,” continued Harper. “Pat Fallon’s personal problems distract him from being effective. I will have my full focus on this job.”

Once elected, Harper will immediately focus on stopping the destructive Biden/Pelosi agenda as quickly as he can. He will put his record of success managing large organizations and complex projects to work for Texans with the following priorities:

  • Defend personal freedoms. Stop COVID mandates.
  • Secure the border immediately and stop Biden’s open border agenda.
  • Prevent liberal indoctrination and critical race theory in schools.
  • Stand up to China!
  • Make America Great Again by restoring Trump’s economic & border policies.
  • Protect Texas families. Back the Blue and stop the flow of drugs across the border.
  • Bring character & integrity to Congress.
  • Vote for laws that prevent insider trading by Members of Congress, like Pat Fallon.


Meet John

John Harper is a patriot and public servant who will fight for Texas with his pro-life, pro-gun, pro-family values. In 2016, Harper cast a vote for Donald Trump for President as a Presidential Elector from Texas. His lengthy career spans more than 50 years of service to his country and the great state of Texas. Harper served in the US Air Force for 20 years and was awarded multiple merit-based medals. After the Air Force, Harper served various higher education institutions in leadership roles, including Vice-President at Texas A&M-Commerce. He also served as Mayor and regularly consults on public policy at the local, state, and federal levels.  John is married to Debra Harper. Together, they have three children, nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
